About AIIA

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is the Apex Institute for Ayurveda, established in 2010 as an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. It aims at bringing a synergy between traditional wisdom of Ayurveda and modern tools and technology.

The Institute offers postgraduate and doctoral courses in various disciplines of Ayurveda. The focus of AIIA is on fundamental research, drug development, standardization, quality control, safety evaluation and scientific validation of Ayurvedic medicines. Institute has a 200 bed referral hospital for facilitating clinical research. The institute has 25 specialty Departments and 12 clinics and 8 inter-disciplinary research laboratories wherein several students have access PG & PhD courses every year. The hospital is equipped with state of the art modern diagnostic tools and techniques which is use in teaching, training and research. AIIA is a referral hospital and a “Center of Excellence” to set highest standard of education, research and quality patient care services under Ayurveda system of medicine and also function as a model center for international collaboration.
